"Brand Account" Tool

If you’re selling on Ozon, you can become a brand representative with the “Brand account” tool. It allows to:

• view all brand products on Ozon;
• keep track of the list of brand sellers on Ozon;
• make complaints about unscrupulous sellers who sell brand products without your approval;
• analyze customer reviews and questions, answer them as the official brand representative;
• find ways to increase sales with the “What to sell on Ozon” tools.

With one account, you can represent several brands. For example, if your company has several sub-brands.

A brand representative can’t control or influence brand product prices on the marketplace. If it occurs, the brand account is blocked.

Requirements for brand representatives

A brand representative on Ozon can be:

• a copyright holder;
• an exclusive licensee;
• a representative of the copyright holder or the exclusive licensee by attorney.

The brand must be registered on the territory of the Russian Federation in the national or international intellectual property system.

You can’t register brands if their names:

• duplicate or sound similar to existing names, for example, Apple, Appel;
• contain an ownership form, for example, SP or LLC;
• contain a website address.

Each brand can have only one official representative and an unlimited number of sellers. To sell brand products, a representative must register as a seller.

To become a brand representative, upload the brand documents. If you can’t upload them, then a brand representative already exists on Ozon.

How to upload documents

Switch between brand and seller accounts

If you have both seller and brand representative statuses, you can switch between your accounts:

1. In the upper right corner of your account, hover over the Brand or Seller inscription.
2. Click the account name you want to go to.

Cancellation of brand representative status

A brand can have only one official representative on Ozon. The status can be canceled if:

• There are duplicate brands with different representatives. We perform an audit and leave only the original brand on the marketplace. We cancel the status of the duplicate’s representatives and block their access to the brand account.

• The trademark owner transferred the rights of the brand representative, but now wants to get this status on Ozon. We cancel the brand representative status and transfer it to the trademark owner.

  If you’re the copyright holder, submit a formal notice with revocation of rights to our support. This notice must be on your official letterhead with reference to the agreement between you and the representative. In the notice specify the agreement details:

  • duration;
  • brand;
  • legal entities that are parties in the agreement.

  After that, we can re-check the documents in accordance with the information previously provided.
