"Brand Account" Tool

Brand representatives can register on Ozon with the “Brand account” tool. It allows to:

With one account, you can represent several brands. For example, if your company has several sub-brands.

A brand representative can’t control or influence brand product prices on the marketplace. If it occurs, the brand account is blocked.

Requirements for brand representatives

A brand representative on Ozon can be:

  • a copyright holder;
  • an exclusive licensee;
  • a representative of the copyright holder or the exclusive licensee by attorney.

The brand must be registered on the territory of the Russian Federation in the national or international intellectual property system.

You can’t register brands if their names:

  • duplicate or sound similar to existing names, for example, Apple, Appel;
  • contain an ownership form, for example, SP or LLC;
  • contain a website address.

Each brand can have only one official representative and an unlimited number of sellers. To sell brand products, a representative must register as a seller.

Become representative and seller at the same time

To become a representative and a seller of brand products:

  1. During account registration, select one of the options:

    • a product seller and brand representative;
    • only a product seller.
  2. Upload the brand documents in the Settings → Brand representative → Become an official representative section.

If you’ve registered as a representative but plan to sell products, register a seller account.

Switch between brand and seller accounts

If you choose to be a brand representative and a product seller, you can switch between the accounts:

  1. In the upper right corner of your account, hover over the Brand or Seller inscription.
  2. Click the account name you want to go to.

Cancellation of brand representative status

A brand can have only one official representative on Ozon. The status can be canceled if:

  • There are duplicate brands with different representatives. We perform an audit and leave only the original brand on the marketplace. We cancel the status of the duplicate’s representatives and block their access to the brand account.
  • The trademark owner transferred the rights of the brand representative, but now wants to get this status on Ozon. We cancel the brand representative status and transfer it to the trademark owner.
