In all regions we set a single price for vital and essential medicines. The list of them is approved by the government and regularly updated.
Principles of regional pricing
Ozon geography is divided into clusters of regional coefficients.
For customers from different clusters, product prices may change due to the regional coefficient. We set this in clause 2.3 of the contract.
We calculate the regional coefficient individually for each product and add it to the price you set. The difference in the cost allows you to increase product sales in certain regions.
The price may be impacted by a regional coefficient and a discount at the same time. If the selling price is less than you specified in your account due to the discount, you get a refund with Ozon points.

Also important to know:
- if you sell the same product in different clusters, you can’t set a different price for them;
- the coefficient doesn’t affect the payment amount and the sales fee. We calculate it from your price.
Clusters of regional coefficients
Clusters aren’t always the same as regions. One cluster can include several regions or an entire country. We can change the size and composition of clusters.

Cluster prices for customers
When a customer located in one of the clusters visits the website, the system immediately identifies their region and shows product prices with regional coefficients.
At the checkout, we check the cluster once again by delivery address. At this point, the price may change. A customer always sees the final price before paying for the order.
Regional prices impact on earnings
Regional prices don’t affect your earnings:
- we pay you the product price you specified in your account;
- we calculate the fee from the same price;
- upon return, we refund the customer from your balance without taking into account the regional coefficient. Ozon covers the difference.
To view the price with regional coefficient, open the Finance → Documents → Sales reports section. Your price is indicated in the Price before discounts at the Seller’s initiative, USD column. The price with regional coefficient is in the Selling price, USD column.
Regional mark-up display in the sales report
To view the price including regional coefficient, open the Finance → Documents → Sales reports section. The product cost, including regional coefficient, is displayed in the Sale price column. The regional mark-up and the sale fee are displayed in the Ozon basic fee column.
