Customs Payment

Products imported into Russia are subject to customs duty if they cost over 200 euros or weigh over 31 kg.

If the parcel’s cost exceeds the duty-free threshold, the customer must make a customs payment:

• If the product is delivered to the pick-up point or by courier, the customer pays the customs duty only when placing an order on Ozon. No further payments required.
• If the product is delivered by Russian Post, the customer pays the customs duty upon receipt at the pick-up point.

The customs payment includes:

• customs duty: 15% of the excess amount;
• customs charge: 689 rubles;

To keep the product competitive with the new duty-free threshold, you can offer customers a discount that adjusts the product price.

Notifying customers

We notify customers about the customs payment so you don’t have to warn them.

Customers are notified about the customs payment when viewing the PDP and placing an order.
