If the system predicted no sales for the product in the next 30 days, it’s considered unpopular and gets archived automatically.

Prediction is based on combination of:

• low PDP view rates;
• no sales for a long time;
• uncompetitive price;
• no products’ advertisement;
• it’s ranked low in search results.

We archive unpopular products to prevent overall sales performance from decreasing and give you an opportunity to upload new products, that can be interesting for customers.

If products participate in an advertising campaign and have advertising costs, they remain visible while the advertising is active.

How to avoid auto-archiving

Analyse auto-archived PDPs.

When creating a product, fill in as many attributes as possible, add photos of a good quality, and a detailed product description in Russian. Set a competitive product price as well, depending on its type and the availability from other sellers.

Take into account the Content rating metric. It will tell you what characteristics to fill in for your product to make it the most attractive to customers.

To prevent your products from being automatically archived:

• Monitor the content quality and product demand.

• Timely manage product prices.

• Fill out as many product attributes as possible.

• Add only high-quality product images.

• Place your products at Ozon partner warehouses under the FBP scheme.

• Use the Ozon promotion tools. Promotion helps to increase sales and keep previously unpopular products on the storefront.

How to restore auto-archived products

You can’t restore auto-archived products. They’re not included in the total upload limit, which means you can create new PDPs.

For creating, check product requirements and limits for creating products. Don’t copy auto-archived or unpopular products. If you upload these PDPs without editing, they may be auto-archived too.
