Shipping provider’s restrictions

  • Maximum shipment weight: 25 kg.

  • You can deliver products with batteries, for this purpose provide a material safety data sheet MSDS.
  • Shipping provider’s list of prohibited products: GBS, Tanais.
  • List of products prohibited for transportation based on the Edict of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
  • Transportation is possible for personal-use items; commercial shipments aren’t allowed. Each package with general-use items can carry no more than 3 pieces of the same product or 3 pieces of different products in it. Each package with electronic products is limited to 2 pieces.

Shipping providers information

Supply products to bonded warehouses

  1. Sign a contract with the warehouse.

    Otherwise, it doesn’t accept supply requests.

  2. Create a supply request.

  3. Prepare the shipping documents for supply and wait for confirmation from the warehouse.

    All companies must provide the documents at the supply preparation stage.

  4. If the supply isn’t from DAFZA, send documents for the driver and vehicle to get a pass.

Documents required to sign a contract with the warehouse

Prepare scanned documents and send them to the warehouse:

  • Trade license: confirms the company’s registration in the UAE or other country.
  • Tax registration card: equivalent to a Taxpayer Identification Number (INN) and confirms taxpayer registration.
  • Memorandum of association: a company’s founding document. Chinese companies can use a shortened version or other document confirming information about founders. You can provide a watermarked document.
  • Company bank details card.

After checking the documents, the warehouse sends you the contract for signing. Otherwise, it doesn’t accept supply requests.

Shipping documents for supply

This set of documents is required to get a pass and accompanies the cargo at all shipping stages.

Companies registered in DAFZA

Supplies shipped between free zones require a FZ Transit, a customs transit declaration.

The movement must be registered in the e-clearance systems of both zones.

Documents required for gate pass

If you supply from DAFZA, skip this step.

The warehouse issues a pass to the territory only after receiving a full set of documents from the seller.

All documents for the cargo, vehicle, and driver must be ready when submitting the pass request.

Provide:

  • Driver’s Emirates ID (EID).
  • Driver’s license.
  • Vehicle registration.
  • A full set of shipping documents. It’s required to get a pass and ship the supply.

Without a valid pass, the vehicle isn’t allowed into the DAFZA territory.

General recommendations

  • Provide all documents in English. Information in Russian isn’t allowed.
  • Attach scanned copies with signatures and stamps in PDF.
  • Specify HS codes for all products in the invoice.
  • Issue one invoice per shipment.
  • Make sure that the details in the documents matches the supply request.
  • Submit a full set of documents for checking before the cargo arrives.
  • Keep electronic and paper copies until the supply is completed.
