What is a brand account?

A brand account is a set of tools for brand owners to monitor sellers and product quality on Ozon. In the brand account, you can:

  • confirm your right to represent a brand;
  • view the list of brand sellers and their products;
  • report products, for example, if they’re counterfeit;
  • launch and manage special offers for seller products;
  • create an official brand storefront;
  • answer to customer reviews on behalf of the official brand representative;
  • get analytics on popular or missing brand products on Ozon and key search queries by category.

Who can become a brand representative and get access to the account?

A brand representative on Ozon can be:

  • a copyright holder;
  • an exclusive licensee;
  • a representative of the copyright holder or the exclusive licensee by attorney.

The brand must be registered in the Russian Federation in the national or international intellectual property system.

What documents do I need to access the brand account?

How long does it take to verify the brand representation documents?

It depends on the total number of requests, the correctness of the document set, and the quality of scans and photos. The total verification time is up to 14 days.

Can I have products from several brands in one account?

Yes, if you have several approved brand representation requests.

Why can’t I see myself in the list of brand sellers?

  • You’re in the seller account of this brand and can view only the list of other sellers.
  • Your seller account is registered with the same legal entity as your brand account.

How to become a representative of a brand that already has a representative?

A brand can have only one representative on Ozon. We select the representative based on the legal significance of the documents. If you want to replace the current representative, contact support: Personal account → Brand account → Brand account registration and activation. Attach the required documents to your request. We review the request. If your documents are:

  • Equal or less significant, the representative remains the same.
  • More significant, the brand account is transferred to you. For example, if you’re the trademark owner and the current representative is a distributor with rights to represent and protect the brand.

Why is my representation request rejected?

  • Your documents don’t clearly prove your right to own the trademark or protect it.
  • You uploaded an incomplete set of documents. For example, you didn’t attach documents for trademark ownership, protection, or additional documents requested.

What to do if my representation request is rejected?

Check the rejection reason.

If you need to upload other documents, add them to the same request. You don’t need to create a new one.

  1. In the Settings → Brands section, open the Brand representative tab.

  2. In the line with the rejected request, click and select Edit.

  3. In the Brand representation request window, delete the document you have to replace.

  4. Upload a new document.

  5. Click Save changes.

We check the request again within 14 calendar days. You can track its status in the Settings → Brands section, on the Brand representative tab.

What to do if I didn’t receive the activation confirmation email?

Check your spam folder. If the email isn’t there, contact support: Personal account → Brand account → Brand account registration and activation.

How many brands can I register with one legal entity?

The number of brands is unlimited.

How many representatives can one brand have on Ozon?

A brand can have only one official representative on Ozon.

Which employee can apply for brand representation?

Only employees with the “Manager” and “Administrator” roles can apply.

How long does it take to verify a request for brand account registration?

It takes from 5 to 10 business days to check the documents.

You can view the request status in the Settings → Brands section, on the Brand representative tab. If the documents are verified, the status changes to “Verified”. Otherwise, it changes to “Rejected”.

Why can’t I see the brand products and sellers in my account after submitting the request?

  • Your brand representation request isn’t verified yet or is rejected. You can check its status in the Settings → Brands section, on the Brand representative tab.
  • The validity period of your brand representation documents is expired. Open the Settings → Brands section, the Brand representative tab. Check the date in the “Expiration date” field.

What to do if my request is rejected due to the missing seal, but my company doesn’t use seals on documents?

Upload the company charter. If your company doesn’t have it, upload another document confirming your company operations.

How to extend access to the brand account?

In the Settings → Brands → Brand representation section, delete the expired request. Create a new one with the up-to-date information. While we’re checking the documents, your access to the brand account is limited.

How to get the “Original” badge?

For brands that are often counterfeited, we add the badge free of charge after document verification. For other brands, you can add the badge as a paid service.

How to register a second brand account?

Use a different email address. The email for the “Manager” role must be unique for each account.

How to register a brand account

If you sell on Ozon not only through the brand account, the product range of your stores shouldn’t overlap by more than 30%. Otherwise, we disable all accounts except one according to the agreement rules.

Where can I find the trademark number?

You can view the number in the trademark certificate. If you don’t have its paper version, you can use:

Enter only numbers, without additional symbols, zeros, spaces, or punctuation marks.

What is the Nice Classification and how to determine my trademark class?

The Nice Classification is an international classification of products and services used for trademark registration. Classes 1–34 are for products. Classes 35–45 are for services.

Sellers of which Nice Classification classes can access the brand account?

The brand account is available to sellers of products of the Nice Classification classes from 1 to 34.

You can also access it if your trademark is registered in several classes at the same time and at least one of them is from 1 to 34.

What is included in the Premium Brand subscription?

Yes, all the benefits of Premium Brand are included in the Premium Plus subscription.

Do I need to buy separate subscriptions for the brand account and the seller account?

If you have a shared account and can switch between your seller and brand accounts, all the brand account tools are available under the Premium Plus subscription. You don’t need to sign up for the Premium Brand subscription separately.

Can I merge a brand account and a seller account with a Premium Plus subscription?
