Proper quality products

If a product of proper quality doesn’t meet your needs, you can return it. Before returning, make sure that:

  • the product isn’t defective;
  • the appearance, factory packaging and seals, factory labels and consumer properties of the product are still intact;
  • there are no signs of use and the product expiration date hasn’t expired;
  • you return the entire set of products, for example, both volumes for a book in two volumes;
  • you haven’t installed or activated programs on electronic devices.

Pet food, food products, SIM cards of any operators, digital products on physical media, and products from the “Ready-made projects” category are non-returnable if they are of proper quality.

Improper quality products

The product is of improper quality if:

  • it turned out to be a fake;
  • it got broken while using, doesn’t work or doesn’t work well;
  • it’s with external defects or signs of use;
  • the packaging and the product are damaged;
  • there is no part of the product or its set;
  • the wrong product was delivered;
  • the product has wrong size or color;
  • the expiration date has expired.

You can create a return request within the time period specified in the table.

During warranty period

The warranty period is the period of time during which the manufacturer must satisfy the customer requirements for product replacement, refund, or gratuitous repair of defects. The manufacturer becomes liable when a substantial defect has been identified that interferes with the operation of the product.

If the warranty period isn’t specified, you can deliver a technically complex product under warranty within 365 days from the date of purchase.

If the product has a warranty period, you can deliver it within the time period specified on the PDP.

When returning the product, Ozon may request the original certificate from an authorized service center or expert, confirming that there is a manufacturing defect, as well as the original warranty card, if any. If the product is technically complex, the conclusion must confirm that the defect is significant.

During the warranty period, the product can be repaired at a service center.

Return of potentially dangerous products

Products that are filled with flammable substances are potentially dangerous and are accepted only with an empty fuel tank or cylinder.

Examples of such products:

  • gas cylinders;
  • internal combustion engines;
  • tools and equipment with an internal combustion engine or powered by combustible substances.
