Pay customs duty in case your parcel exceeds the duty-free import threshold and in other cases established by the legislation of the destination country.
To receive an order in Azerbaijan, fill out the customs declaration on the e.customs.gov.az website or in the Smart Customs mobile app. The order fails to pass through customs without a declaration. It’s disposed of and you don’t get a refund.

Notification of exceeding the threshold
You’ll receive a text message from the delivery service or the customs authorities of your country. It contains the deadline by which you must pay the duty. The message is sent to the contacts you provide to the delivery service when placing the order.
Duty amount
The duty amount depends on the product cost and dimensions, the delivery service conditions, and the customs legislation of the destination country.
If the product weighs more than 30 kg and costs more than 300 GEL, you need to pay customs duty. It’s 18% of the total product and delivery cost. An additional import tax of 12% may be applied on some products.
Check the duty amount with the delivery service or customs authorities.

Several orders can be combined in one shipment. In this case, the duty is calculated for the whole shipment, not for each order separately.
Example
On March 25, you order a product for 200 GEL, and on March 26, you order another one for 150 GEL. Since the orders are placed within a short time period, they can be delivered in one shipment.
Each order individually doesn’t exceed the duty threshold of 300 GEL. But when delivered together, the total cost of the order is 350 GEL. In this case, the duty-free threshold is exceeded, so you have to pay customs duty.
If the monthly total cost of orders exceeds 300 USD, pay the customs duty, VAT, and administrative fee. This comes to about 36% of the amount exceeding the limit.
