A deposit is a required refundable one-time payment. You make it:
- when creating a personal account;
- if you created your account over 4 months ago, haven’t paid the deposit, and had no sales during the last 12 months;
- if your debt to Ozon hasn’t decreased over the past 2 months, you had no sales during the last 3 months, and haven’t paid the deposit before.
The deposit amount is 2400 CNH and doesn’t change during the term of the Contract.
We refund the deposit as part of the final settlement upon termination of the Contract. At the same time, Ozon has the right to use the deposit to cover any outstanding payments you owe. For example, for:
- advertising and digital promotional services that Ozon provided;
- products that customers returned;
- Ozon sales fee;
- reimbursable expenses for Ozon partner delivery.
You pay the deposit in your personal account using a debit card issued in Mainland China.
The card must belong to an employee or the ultimate beneficiary of the company registered in Mainland China.
