The Original badge helps increase brand recognition, strengthen customer trust, and boost conversion rates. The badge is displayed:

The badge will be added to all brand products only after the documents are verified and approved. For some popular brands whose counterfeits are often found on the market, we will place a badge on all brand products without additional charge.
Badge advantages #
Products with the Original badge:
- inspire more trust in customers and sell better,
- will be displayed in the search results under the Original Product filter.
You can:
- enable the badge when you need to attract customers' attention — for example, during promotions, sales, or when a new shipment of products arrives;
- disable the badge if extra attention is not needed — the demand is already high or the brand is recognized.
Enable the Original Badge service #
You can enable the service if:
- the brand documents have been approved
- their validity period has not expired,
- the balance is positive at the time of connection.
The service can be managed by employees with the Managing Director, Administrator, and Product Manager roles .

In Products → Brand Documents, click Add Documents.

Specify:
- Brand.
- Type of the supporting document.
- Trademark Registration Certificate number. You can find information about the trademark in open sources, for example, in Rospatent or WIPO Madrid.
- Brief description. You can specify an explanation for the document.
- Issue and expiration dates of the supporting document.
Click Continue.

Upload documents not exceeding 10 MB each.
Add all brand documents to one request. One brand — one request.
Click Continue.

Select Enable Service. If your balance is negative, a warning will be displayed.

Click Complete.
Wait until the documents are verified. If it is successful, the Original badge will appear on your products. You can check the connection of the service on the tab Products → Brand Documents.
Service cost #
We consider the service provided if at least one brand product was on sale within 24 hours, even if it was on the same day:
- you have disabled the service;
- the products are out of stock at the warehouse or hidden from sale;
- we disabled the service unilaterally due to a violation of intellectual property rights.
We charge the service fee at the end of the day.

Disable the service #
You can manage the service only if you have enabled it on a paid basis.
In Products → Brand Documents in the Original Badge Service column, click Enabled and select Do Not Enable.
Ozon may suspend or disable the Original Badge service unilaterally if:
- there are suspicions of intellectual property rights infringement,
- the validity period of the documents has expired or they were rejected upon repeat verification,
- the funds for payment are insufficient in the account for 3 days in a row.
Questions and Answers #
Can the Original badge be added to products from the Perfumery category?
In the Perfumery category, only full-size fragrances with their origin confirmed by brand documents will receive a badge. Roll-on perfume cannot be considered an original product as such package is not released by the brand.
If after enabling the services it becomes clear that you are selling roll-on perfume under this brand, the brand documents will be rejected and the service disabled.
How do the Brand Promotion and Original Badge services complement each other?
These are two independent services. You decide which one to enable and whether to combine them.
Brand promotion includes:
- display of the brand name next to the image on the PDP, in search results, and catalog;
- brand logo in search results for clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry;
- logo in the brand filter;
- placement of products on the Popular Brands shelf.
The Original Badge includes:
- badge display with the inscription “Original” on the PDP, in search results, and catalog;
- search for a product by the Original Product filter.
